Position - The Access Services Coordinator manages the Melick Library online circulation system, supervises 10-12 student workers, and assists in other areas of the library. This is a 35-40 hour/week position with excellent full-time benefits. Some evening duties are required. The Access Services Coordinator reports to the Director of Melick Library.
The College – Eureka is a small residential liberal arts college located equidistant between the cities of Peoria and Bloomington/Normal. Position Requirements – This position requires strong supervisory, computer and communication skills; accuracy and attention to detail; some Library Reference skills. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Dunlap Public Library seeks a full-time (40 hour/week) Youth Services Manager. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, MLS or MLIS degree with library experience preferred. Experience working with children and/or teens required. Works closely with the Library Director. Plans and implements monthly programming for children and teens. Assists with collection development. Assists with all areas of daily library business, including customer service, circulation, marketing, etc. Oversees management of the library in the Director’s absence.

The Alliance Library System (ALS) seeks full or part-time delivery drivers to deliver books and other library materials to and from member libraries and other designated locations. Positions will be available July 1, 2008. The abilities to work independently, frequently lift tubs or bags of materials, drive daily on established routes, and maintain a customer service focus are desired. A high school diploma (or equivalent) a valid Illinois Driver’s License, and three years experience driving are required. Rate of pay for these positions will be $7.75 to $10.25 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
